Set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, this refined editorial shoot at The Marquis, Suffolk offered the perfect balance of romance and modern design. With its manicured Italian Gardens, elevated styling, and dream team of luxury suppliers, the vision for this shoot was brought to life with elegance and intention.

As a Suffolk Wedding Photographer and Editorial Wedding Photographer, I’m constantly inspired by creative collaborations like this; where design, emotion, and fashion meet. Featuring real couple Keely & Brad, this shoot felt less like a styled concept and more like a story unfolding filled with softness, movement, and connection.

A Garden Made for Romance

The setting alone set the tone. The Italian Gardens at The Marquis are tucked away yet rich in atmosphere perfect for couples dreaming of a Luxury Wedding in the countryside with a touch of destination flair.

Rosie of @rosieobeneyflowers led the creative direction, floral design, and styling concept. Her vision? To bring refined romance to life with soft tonal florals, clean structure, and moments of whimsical beauty. Soft greens, whites and pink neutrals flowed seamlessly through the flowers, fashion, and tablescape.

Fashion Moments with House of Savin & Calla Blanche

Keely wore a dress from @silkandmaplebridal, a statement piece by House of Savin London, combining romantic textures with clean lines, worn beautifully by Keely as she walked through the gardens.

Statement accessories by @kiriandbelle added polish and personality to each look—proof that fashion-forward bridal styling is about balance and intention.

Styling the Table & Scene

The tablescape was an exercise in refined minimalism, beautifully curated tableware from @cmahire, sculptural florals by Rosie, and signage by @whimselydesigns that added a modern, tactile finish. The cake, created by @suehurstcakedesign, stood tall and textural, echoing the natural tones and forms of the day.

Live performances from @miss_leeloo_saxophonist and @eleanorhudson_singer layered the scene with sound bringing warmth and movement that complemented the serene setting.

Hair by @lisamariehair__ and makeup by @emilychantal_mua completed the look: dewy, polished, and relaxed—the kind of beauty that photographs effortlessly in natural light.

Why Editorial Shoots Matter

As a London Wedding Photographer and Suffolk Wedding Photographer, I often work with couples looking for a refined, fashion-forward approach to their imagery. Shoots like this allow us to explore visual storytelling in new ways to test textures, tones, and techniques that inspire fresh ideas for real weddings.

With content beautifully captured by @ivorywhitewedding and the film-worthy chemistry between Keely & Brad (aka @foreverinframekb), this shoot was less about staging and more about feeling.

If you’re planning a wedding at The Marquis, dreaming of an editorial aesthetic, or curating an editorial that values story, style, and substance, I’d love to connect. Shoots like this remind us what’s possible when great design meets genuine connection.
